Discipleship has and will always been Gods method to raise men up!

God has always called men to be men of valour and to do His will.  Examples are endless; Adam, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Joseph, Jeremiah, David, Solomon, Elijah, Elisha, the 12 disciples and many more.

Men of Valour must be men of integrity (wholehearted in honesty), purity (clean of all wrong), righteousness (only living as is pleasing to God), sincerity (seriousness mixed with Honesty), love and obedience.

Valour is described as boldnesss or determination in facing great danger, especially in battle; heroic courage or bravery. We might not see, but God sees the potential and is able to mould men into what He wants them to be.

Potential is only seen through the eyes of God who can see beyond the different natural weaknesses and flaws of all men.

Today many men dream of being a hero, they often know it deep inside themselves secretly but, fail to see that God's put this into all men and only He can raise this into reality.

Valiant men step out regardless of the challenge ahead.

Real men will make mistakes, but not doing what needs to be done and being a coward is not Gods desire for men.

God is looking for men that will show courage, boldness and bravery in every situation. There are a lot of areas that men can be brave and do what’s right.

  1. The devil’s age old trick. The devil wants man to fall but God helps us to stand against him and stay strong.
  2. Witnessing and preaching: Men of Valour are bold and courageous men and will share their faith to bless others.
  3. Righteousness: Right standing with God at all times.

When God speaks to you, He speaks to you based on the potential that He sees in you.

To Gideon, the Angel of the Lord said “ You mighty man of valor”

Gideon did not look the part but God saw potential.Peter looked like he didn’t have it in him. He denied the Lord three times, then went fishing because of the discouragement of it all, but God still used him. Christ said to him “Feed my flock”. Men, we need to stand and be counted for Christ.Gods plan is achievable, rewarding and challenging, anything less might leave you male but, Manhood is Gods mark of approval on Men of valour.

Manhood"Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong."

"I go the way of all the earth (speaking of his pending death). Be thou strong therefore, and show thyself a man" A father calls his Son  to be a Man of Valour.
